At Sukhveda Ayurvedic Wellness Centre, our philosophy is based on the wisdom of Ayurveda, under the leadership of our founder, Ritu Bhalla. Ritu has a passion for wellness in mind-body relationship and has been practicing Ayurveda in the Dallas area beginning in 2007. She started Sukhveda Ayurvedic Wellness center in 2016 to give another way for individuals to find or restore a balanced life and live a health focused lifestyle.
Ritu recognizes the mind-body relationship and the holistic ways of Ayurveda, approaches Ayurveda in a modern way that makes it available to most everyone. At Sukhveda, we identify an individual’s Doshas and offer individualized treatments to promote health and wellness through herbal remedies, detox treatments and life-style changes.
Ritu had taught Ayurveda at Collin County College as a part of the Counselor Education Program. She has repeatedly been invited by the University of North Texas at Denton as a guest speaker, introducing Ayurveda to students as a part of the Stress Reduction through Movement Program. She has been a speaker at the Texas Medical Association Convention for CME (Continuing Medical Education) on Holistics (2014 & 2015). She was an active board member of AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America), Vaidya (a subcommittee for NAMA {National Ayurvedic Medical Association}), and is an associate member for TIPS (Texas Indian Physician Society).
Ritu has been invited as a keynote speaker at various organizations in Dallas and has appeared on Channel 33 and radio stations in the DFW metroplex. She has been a CEU Provider since January 2015, licensed through the Department of State Health Services.
